PREAMBLE

Last fall (Sept 2005), the theme of the Diocesan Study Days was Stewardship. Parishes within the diocese have been invited to begin the process of forming stewardship committees as part of a pilot project.

This page is a work in progress!! We are just in the beginning stages of looking at forming a Stewardship initiative in our parish. In case you hear Stewardship and think $$$$... think again! Stewardship isn't rooted in "the church needs more $$$", but rather it is a whole life response of the Christian disciples. God has given us so many gifts and, as Christian disciples, we are called to return praise and thanksgiving to God out of our deep gratitude. At the same time, we are called to care wisely for the gifts God has given us, be it our family, the earth, our talents, our time, our treasure.
